One of two Family Businesses founded to create the most fastidious and detailed of full 'nut & bolt' Period car restorations. Once home to Classic Austin's, Lagonda's, MG's, Riley Roadster's, Austin Healeys, SS Jaguars and others.

As an Apprentice Carpenter & Joiner working for the Family Business L T Deeprose Ltd a Building, General Contracting and Developing Business based in Guildford. Founded by my Grandfather some 60 years ago it had three generations of Family working within it. I was privileged to have the opportunity to work with Traditionally skilled Craftsmen and artisans who taught me the core skills necessary to carry out the work I do today, in as much, attention to detail, exacting, patience, hardworking and most of all the desire to get the 'Job done properly'.

For many months at a time I would be allocated to Deeprose Engineering to work on the timber frames of the cars, running boards, dashes and other such things. Often working just from photographs, incomplete pieces of the original cars or just sketches - I was able to create the fluid shapes and forms necessary for the grand and gracious cars. Beyond my Trade Craft foundations I moved progressively upwards in the Building Business leaning every function within it applying my practical nature to each and every new challenge. At the time of the sale of L T Deeprose Ltd I was the Companies Managing Director, having overall responsibility for every function, enjoying most to be able to decide what we would do today, and, beyond…

In 2006 I took responsibility of Deeprose Engineering Ltd, at first making necessary changes to keep the Business alive and successful – it was very hard work. I learnt bookkeeping, filing Accounts with Companies House, and pretty much every function associated with running a smaller Business, some anticipated, and some not!

Both Businesses are Local to Guildford and provide valuable services and employment within the area.
